After many years of providing a BES for our Google Apps customers, we are sad to announce this managed service will finish on the 21st August 2014. We have seen a decline in Blackberry usage, coupled with the release of Blackberry 10, which can sync to Google Apps and Exchange using ActiveSync and doesn’t require a separate server.
RIM has announced the end of support for BES 5 in 2015; BES 10 doesn’t support devices running OS 7 or earlier, so these will need to be replaced or a separate BES 5 server maintained outside of RIM’s support.
We will continue our Mobile Device Management service, as well as offering a limited BES 5 server installation service.
